Glee’s episode featuring Sarah Jessica Parker, had me relating to Kurt. Well, not exactly. I was inspired and related to the mini-monologue SJP’s character Isabelle, gives Kurt during his interview.
This is New York, it’s for dreamers. It’s for people like you who are just starting out and people like me who very much want to reinvent themselves. No, you should dream. You should dream very, very big. And then you should work incredibly hard and make sure you do everything in your power to make it happen.
Simple, yes. But effective. I’m taking this all the way to New York myself as I’m currently applying for an internship at Entertainment Weekly. You ready for me EW? You should be! Just don’t ask me to sing Defying Gravity.
