I hope Glee starts to capitalize on Lea’s talent while they still have her. Recently, Mercedes and Santana have been the female leads in most numbers. Yes, they’re good and popular, but nothing beats the pipes that Lea has. I can attest to this because during the live Glee concert, Lea was by far the strongest voice (the others seem recording enhanced). And although her character may not be as popular as the other two because Rachel is an overbearing go-getter, fame-hunger, talented machine; but, she has inarguable talent. Even with “Here’s to Us” she managed to give me chills, a feat few voices have been able to achieve. They should give her some more Barbra Streisand and maybe some Bette Midler to cover!
